Why Context Is Becoming a Product Manager’s Superpower

AI can help Product Managers do more than automate tasks. By understanding and carrying context across tools, decisions, and conversations, AI can help PMs spend less time searching for information and more time thinking about products.

A good Product Manager doesn’t necessarily work more. They make better decisions.

One of the biggest challenges PMs face is not a lack of information.

It’s finding the right information at the right time.

Meeting notes are in one place. PRDs are somewhere else. User feedback is buried in Slack. Tasks live in a project management tool. Data lives somewhere else.

And somehow, the PM is expected to connect all the dots.

This is where I think AI can have a much bigger impact on Product Management.

Not by replacing PMs.

But by reducing the amount of time they spend on information hunting, context switching, and repetitive work — so they can spend more time on product thinking.

Imagine being able to ask:

“What are the latest user complaints about this feature?”

Or:

“Does this PRD conflict with any decisions we made earlier?”

Or:

“What context from previous discussions should I consider before making this decision?”

This is one of the ideas we’re exploring with Nomi:

An AI assistant that carries your context with you.

Because for a Product Manager, one of the most valuable assets isn’t just your documents, tasks, or meetings.

It’s context.

And the better AI understands your context, the more useful it becomes — moving from a simple chatbot to a true Product Copilot.

Maybe the future of Product Management isn’t simply:

PM + AI

It’s:

PM + persistent context + AI. 🚀
